One issue I usually have with ordering lenses is red lenses because I need them with prescription. A few months back they were a bit harder to find but nowadays it’s a bit easier to find them with prescription. I asked a friend of mine about them who recommended me to Geo-Lens House, a Facebook group.

I ended up ordering from i.Fairy in Hanabi Red. Just a note that their prescription number is written differently than in America. For example, my prescription is (-4.25. -4.25) but theirs is written as 425.

I ordered from them in April 27th and they didn’t ship until 2 days later. The lenses overall were okay. They’re vibrant but my bigger issue was the size of the lenses and the overall look. Not to sound racist to myself, but my eyes are smaller compared to other people’s eyes, so in some images, the lenses looked like it would engulf my entire eye (that and shadowing in images).

In terms of the overall look, unlike my green or blue lenses, the color does not begin outside the pupil, the color starts a few mm after that, so your own personal eye color WOULD become a factor in this. Brown isn’t so bad, but if you had blue eyes or something, it would be very obvious. You’d see your pupil, then blue eyes, then red ring. That’s probably the best way to describe it, it’s a ring around your eye.

Rating: ★★★☆☆/ 3 out of 5.

Pros:
– Tracking number provided.

Cons:
– Shipping was a bit slow.

Price: $17.00 + $1.81 tax + $11.90 shipping = $30.71
Time for Arrival: 20 days.

Would I order from them again? Maybe, if I really couldn’t find other place or I was ordering more lenses because I realized their shipping is quite high. But you can find them here.

Circle Lenses Seller Review: Candy Lens

So I needed to order some blue lenses because I planned on doing a mini photoshoot with my Yuna cosplay. I already had Dolly Lens Green from my Kurama cosplay, so I figured I’d just order some Dolly Lens Blue. I didn’t want to have to wait for a batch or pre-order so I was surfing around on the internet.

I stumbled upon Candy Lens, and it said they would take 2 weeks to deliver. They’re a circle lenses store based in Malaysia. And they gave you a tracking number to check on your lenses. I ordered on July 27th, and they were able to ship it out within the next day.

My one issue is that tracking it. They said sometimes the Malaysia Pos (where you can track the package) doesn’t update properly and after a week, to check it from your local post office website. It has been 9 days since they said they’d deliver it. The Malaysia Pos website updated it for the day it supposedly shipped. But when I checked the USPS website, it says “Origin Post is Preparing Shipment.” So I’m wondering what has become of my lenses. But it hasn’t been two weeks so I don’t want to assume anything yet. Shall update it next week!

EDIT: I received the lenses on Monday, August 9th. It took less than 2 weeks to deliver! The lenses were in a cute little box and I received a cute little ‘thank you’ card from the seller.

Pros:
– Quick delivery.
– Free lens case.
– Cute packaging.
– Lenses are extremely vibrant in color.

Cons:
– Unreliable tracking number.
– Felt that the lenses looked slightly unnatural when I didn’t wear makeup.

Price: 25.90$ + 4.50$ shipping = 30.40$
Time for Arrival:  13 days.

Would I order from them again? Yes!

So I needed some green contact lenses for my Kurama cosplay (which I wore a few posts ago). When it comes to buying circle lenses online. There are a lot of people who sell them online. I’m not saying all of them are reliable, but you can find a lot of sellers. Some sell them really cheap, some more expensive.

I hate to say it, but it’s sort of luck sometimes when you order them. Unless it’s from a reliable website. Other times, you have people selling them on websites such as Facebook.

The ones I wore are Dolly Eye Green. I ordered them from Ceramic Barbie on Facebook. Her group can be seen here. One reason I ordered from her is that she has a lot of good feedback. The lenses are.. not cheap haha. But, you get what you paid for. I previously had one bad experience with circle lenses, but this time I didn’t.

This girl is a real sweetheart. She replied quickly and was very patient with me when I had a lot of questions. She also includes a free contact lens case. I would definitely recommend buying from her, unless you’re one of those people who are skeptical about buying from Facebook or something. But that can’t be helped.

The only con I can think of is shipping, which really wasn’t that big of a deal for me since I ordered long beforehand. She orders by batches, and then has to order from the company, wait for them to ship it to her before she can ship it out. So if you need the lenses within a week, this probably isn’t the place to look haha.

Pros:
–  Excellent service.
– Quick reply.
– Very patient.

Cons:
–  Have to wait for batch to be over & for company to ship over lenses.

Price: 25$ = free shipping.

Would I order in the future? Most likely ^^
